What's Included
Itinerary
Your adventure begins the moment you land in Nairobi, East Africa's vibrant gateway to safari. After meeting our representative at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you'll transfer to the elegant Nairobi Serena Hotel, where you can settle in and unwind after your journey. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the hotel's celebrated Maisha Spa, relaxing by the pool, or simply easing into the rhythm of Kenya.
Optional Experience. If you'd like to start exploring right away, join our Nairobi City Tour. Over three to four hours you'll discover the city's rich history and culture, visiting landmarks including the National Museum, Railway Museum, KICC, Parliament Buildings, and the National Archives.
After breakfast, journey north toward the foothills of Mount Kenya, where Ol Pejeta Conservancy awaits. Home to East Africa's largest black rhino sanctuary and the world's last remaining northern white rhinos, Ol Pejeta is internationally recognised for its pioneering conservation work. Beyond its remarkable wildlife, the conservancy also provides sanctuary to rescued chimpanzees and supports sustainable community initiatives. Arrive at Sweetwaters Serena Camp in time for lunch before relaxing at the camp or enjoying views across the surrounding wilderness. Later in the afternoon, set out on your first game drive through the conservancy in search of elephants, lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and countless other species.
Spend a full day exploring one of Africa's most celebrated wildlife conservancies. Morning and afternoon game drives reveal the incredible diversity of Ol Pejeta, where open plains, acacia woodland, and wetlands support an abundance of wildlife. Between safari experiences, enjoy a memorable bush lunch surrounded by nature before returning to camp for a leisurely afternoon. Whether you're hoping to spot the Big Five or learn more about Kenya's conservation efforts, today offers an unforgettable blend of adventure and purpose.
After breakfast, travel south into Kenya's spectacular Great Rift Valley toward the peaceful shores of Lake Elementaita. Arrive at Lake Elementaita Serena Camp in time for lunch before settling into this intimate lakeside retreat overlooking the UNESCO-listed lake. Spend the afternoon at your own pace—relax beside the heated pool, enjoy optional activities such as horseback riding, archery, nature walks, or simply soak in the peaceful surroundings. Later, head into Soysambu Conservancy for an afternoon game drive through a landscape where wildlife roams freely between the lake, forests, and open grasslands.
Begin the day with a visit to nearby Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya's premier wildlife destinations. Famous for its thriving populations of black and white rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, lions, leopards, and spectacular birdlife, Lake Nakuru offers a rewarding half-day safari experience before returning to camp for lunch. Later that afternoon, enjoy another game drive within Soysambu Conservancy before ending the day with a sundowner overlooking Lake Elementaita. From your cliff-top vantage point, watch flamingos and pelicans gather along the shoreline while buffalo graze peacefully below as the Rift Valley glows beneath the setting sun.
After breakfast, begin your journey back to Nairobi. Before your departure, enjoy a farewell lunch at Café Maghreb at Nairobi Serena Hotel, courtesy of Serena Hotels, before transferring to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight. Leave with lasting memories of remarkable conservation stories, extraordinary wildlife encounters, and the quieter landscapes that reveal another side of Kenya.
